AEGIS Skills PI Pt1

This course includes Aegis (SIA approved) physical intervention training (Aegis Pt 1)
Whereas other programmes stop immediately the boxes required by the SIA training specification have been ticked, the Aegis ‘Pt 1’ programme goes much further, providing you with more comprehensive training – maximising your proficiency and ensuring you will be better prepared for your role.

The Aegis ‘Pt1’ provides a higher standard of competence and self-confidence than other SIA approved training programmes and also includes a Module on Horizontal Physical Restraint (i.e. on the floor) – an absolutely essential aspect of Door Supervisor training currently omitted from the SIA Specification
thus meeting HSE expectations for physical intervention skills training for a Door Supervisor role.

Each delegate that successfully completes the course will, in addition, also qualify for an Aegis Skills certificate that reflects that they have exceeded the training requirements set by the SIA and have achieved the higher standard of competency required by Aegis Skills (and the HSE).
